TZ 180 Series solutions feature a single auto-MDIX Ethernet WAN port, a configurable optional port and a 5-port auto-sensing MDIX LAN switch, allowing multiple devices to connect safely to the network.

Designed as a complete Unified Threat Management (UTM) platform, the TZ 180 Series delivers business-class wired and wireless protection to small, remote and branch office networks through a deep packet inspection firewall and secure 802.11b/g wireless in a cost effective, easy-to-use solution. The compact form factor includes a single Ethernet WAN port and five-port auto-MDIX LAN switch, allowing multiple devices to connect safely to the network. Upgrading to SonicOS Enhanced enables the optional port to be configured as a WorkPort for telecommuters, a second WAN for ISP failover and load balancing, a second LAN or another custom-defined zone for added network flexibility.

The TZ 180 Wireless provides network administrators with the ability to create multiple zones of access—for wired and wireless workers as well as guest wireless users—offering an unprecedented level of control without compromising network security.
